I love it when I tell doctors that I’m a LARPer and an endurance hiker and one of the most frustrating things about chronic pain is how hard it is to go to the park and do my favorite physical activites, and they’ll look at me like a dog that’s just been shown a card trick and ask, “Have you tried exercising?”
Brother, you don’t even know how bad I wish we could try exercising rn
Chronic illness patients: so I really like to do [physical activity] but it’s gotten like, physically hard to do lately
Genius doctors: have you tried increasing your physical activity?
“I’m so fucking good at health.”
I once had to patiently tell a doctor “I don’t really think it’s ethical to ask me to exercise my way out of a pain spike?” and she looked like it was the first time she’d ever really thought about it.
sorry i dont usually do this but i HAVE to clown on this terf or ill explode
what are you some kind of motherfucking bone mage who can SENSE GENDER in someones FUCKIN SKELETON?? there’s been study after study that shows its EXTREMELY difficult to tell someone’s sex based on their skeleton alone, but you, terf almighty on high with magic wizard sex gender beam, can sense someones sex like a fuckin barcode scanner by touching them. seems fucking legit. moron.
This person should be off revolutionizing archaeology with their bone sex wizard skills wtf
All women. I want all that bullshit about the power of friendship shouted by a overpowered girl main character. Homoerotic rivalry between women that aren’t about a guy they both like. Women who hit hard other women. Deadbeat mothers who abandon their family in search of something and stay at home dad that die tragically when their daughter is young and daughters who hate their deabeat mom for leaving them or look up to her and want to become like her. I think the deadbeat mom and the dead dad should be a staple of shonen with women.
I’ll allow three guys but they have to fulfill these roles
- Healer
- Guy whose power is being hot/bewitching people with his look
- Guy who’s like 67 but he’s really vain so he uses his power to look either 20ish or like a kid
the basic idea this post describes vs the shows that everyone recommends
@ every parent in the world: yes your kid is special because every child is special but they are not specialer than every other child so please be normal about them
Some parents have done what I can only describe as fandomize their child where they’ve taken the child and altered it in their mind to make a cooler version that fits their specific interests, and now sometimes I have to remind them of the canon material.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a youth theater director and teacher. Every audition season is a personal ordeal.
